Full Monty have been realised by Peter Cattaneo, in 1997. The movie talks about unemployment. In fact, six men have lost their job and decided to do striptease for earn money after they have seen the success of the Chippendale who have come in their town. Peter Cattaneo have done other films, but it was the first one who has won a price, the Hitchcock d’Or at the Festival du film britannique in Dinard in 1997.

The film talks about a difficult subject, unemployment and about self-confidence in a positive way while remaining realistic. This movie wants to show that if you want to do something, you will reach your goal and that no one should be judged by appearances.

The songs are very good, and they are not chosen within reasons. For me, all of them are chosen at the right moment in the film.
